A useful and beautiful ground cover with short 4" spikes of blue flowers and evergreen foliage that has an attractive bronzy-brown color that quickly forms a low carpet of medium-sized rounded leaves of and is a success in hard to grow shady areas. This Ajuga looks great in rock gardens, as a border plants and mass plantings.
